The grand Ayudha Pooja treat has arrived for Suriya fans with the official announcement of 'Suriya 40' by Sun Pictures with director Pandiraj at the helm. The shooting is planned to begin in January 2021 and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.

As of now what we know about 'Suriya 40' is that it would be an out and out family entertainer and at the same time will deal with a major issue that the people of Tamil Nadu are facing.

Suriya along with 'Suriya 40' will also be shooting for another film produced by his 2D Entertainment and directed by Gnanavel of 'Kootathil Oruthan'. In mid 2021 the hardworking star will then move on to 'Vaadivaasal' directed by Vetrimaaran.

Meanwhile Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara and costarring Aprana Balamurali and Mohan Babu will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from Diwali November 14th.
