Superstar Rajnikanth has been ruling the film industry with his undisputed box office records and success rate for the past four decades, and now prior to his political entry, he has also created a record on television.

Superstar Rajnikanth recently made his television debut with the show "Into The Wild" with Bear Grylls, which premiered on March 23 in Discovery channel, and now it has been announced that the show has created massive TRP records.

Into the Wild with Bear Grylls featuring Rajnikanth was viewed by 1.2 crores people during its telecast on March 23, and this was an 86% increase in viewership compared to the previous 4 weeks episodes. The viewership of Discovery channel has also increased by 5 times,  and viewers of Discovery Tamil have increased 20 times, as per Broadcast Audience research council reports.
