Two legendary additions to the star cast of Superstar Rajinkanth’s ‘Thalaivar 170’? – Hot buzz

A few days ago, Lyca Productions confirmed their association with Superstar Rajinikanth. The company’s chairman Subaskaran, Deputy chairman Premsivasamy and head of production GKM Tamilkumaran met the legendary actor at his residence on Friday.

We already reported to you that Rajini teamed up with the production house for two films and the first movie, tentatively called ‘Thalaivar 170’, will be directed by ‘Don’ fame Cibi Chakravarthy. Now, the latest buzz is that Arvind Swami and Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu are likely to be part of the cast of the upcoming project.

The pooja for ‘Thalaivar 170’ will take place in Chennai on November 5th. It is worth mentioning that Arvind Swami made his film debut opposite Rajinikanth in director Mani Ratnam’s 1991 movie ‘Thalapathi’. The two will be seen together in this movie after more than 30 years. On the other hand, Rajini and Vadivelu are acting together after 14 years.

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his new movie ‘Jailer’ and the production is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the year. The film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is produced on a grand scale by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music. Ramya Krishnan and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar are playing pivotal roles in this film.
