Breaking! Ajith to participate in his film promotion after 12 years?

It is well known that South superstar Ajith has been maintaining a low profile for more than a decade.  He avoids public functions related to films and will not even attend the poojas.  His belief has been that a good film will promote itself.  His last promotional event appearance was for ‘Asal'(2010) produced by Sivaji Productions. However his hardcore fans want him to meet them and give them the joy of seeing him the flesh and blood from time to time.

Meanwhile, Ajith’s next biggie ‘Thunivu’, is slated for release on Pongal 2023 and will be clashing with his arch professional rival Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ at the box office.  The mass heroes are clashing head on after eight years since ‘Veeram’ and ‘Jilla’ released incidentally on Pongal 2014.

The hot buzz in Kollywood is that producer Boney Kapoor and TN distributor Udayanidhi Stalin are holding talks with Ajith Kumar to participate in the promotional activities of the film.  It is said that a grand manner pre-release event of ‘Thunivu’ is planned to be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai if Ajith gives his nod.  For now fans are waiting with bated breath for the near unexpected to become a reality.  At the same time the general audiences too would love to hear Ajith make a public speech after more than a decade.

‘Thunivu’ directed by H. Vinoth has music by Ghibran and cinematagraphy by Nirav Shah.  The films stars Ajith, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, G.M. Sundar, Mahanadhi Shankar and others.
