Superstar Rajinikanth calls for press meet suddenly – Major announcements on the card

Its been two months since Superstar Rajinikanth made a clear announcement that due to his health condition he will not be able to take an active part in politics.  He has also canceled launching his own party which was planned on January 17th.  He has since been in rest at home and only a few days back appeared in public when he visited Ilayaraja’s new studio in Kodambakkam Chennai.

It has now been reported that Rajini has called for a press meet at a star hotel in Chennai on Friday the 26th of February.  The news has given rise to further speculations whether politics will be discussed or there is some other reason.

The Rajinikanth press meet is pretty significant with the Tamil Nadu General Elections to be held in May 2021.  A few days back his close friend Kamal Haasan the President of Makkal Needhi Maiam met him at his residence and there is a question if Rajini would support him and open up about that decision on Friday.

It has also been buzzed that Rajini will resume the shooting of ‘Annaathe’ in a couple of weeks time and has also signed a new film with Karthik Subbaraj.  Movie lovers are looking forward to know if the legendary actor would make any new movie announcement.  Well the D Day is less than forty eight hours and whatever is the news coming from the Thalaivar rest assured that it will be the trending topic over the weekend.
