Superstar Rajinikanth explains details of his political entry including risks involved

Superstar Rajinikanth elated his fans today with the sudden announcement that contrary to critical opinions he is indeed entering full time politics in January 2021 when he would be floating a new party.  He also stated that he would be announcing the exact date on December 31st.

Rajini in his press meet at his Poes Garden residence introduced Thamizharui Manian as a key person of his party and Arjuna Moorthy as the chief coordinator.  He went on to add that in 2017 itself he had promised that he would serve the people and was ready for it and even wanted to contest the local body elections.  

Rajini explained that the coronavirus pandemic played spoilsport as he could not travel across Tamil Nadu and meet the people.  He said that when his fan club leaders told him that even though they were disappointed that his health will not be conducive for politics their priority is his wellbeing and that got him emotional.

Rajini has stated that in spite of doctors advising that he should not travel he is ready to meet the people and does not mind even losing his life for Tamil people because it was their prayers that gave him a new life when he was almost in death bed a few years back.

Rajini further added that if he wins the elections it would be the victory of the people and even if he loses still it would be the loss of the people as like individuals there is destiny for a state too.  He however expressed his confidence that he would fight hard to bring about a change in Tamil Nadu by changing the political rule.
