Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Annaatthe' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sun Pictures is all set to storm the big screens on Diwali. The makers have raining exciting updates on the fans and it has been the talk of the town since the trailer drop yesterday. Now, Rajini has shared that he enjoyed watching the film with his family.

In the recent post of Soundarya's new social media app 'Hoote', Thalaivar said that his grandson wanted to watch 'Annaatthe' since he watched the teaser of the movie. He said, "My six-year-old grandson Ved was very eager to watch Annaatthe since I showed him the teaser. So, I asked Siruthai Siva to prepare the film soon and he assured me that it will be ready when he returns from New Delhi. The final copy arrived now as he promised."

"My other grandsons Yatra and Linga are in Kodaikanal with Dhanush. So, I, Aishwarya, Soundarya, my wife, my son-in-law Vishagan, in-laws Vanangamudi and Usha watched Annaatthe with Ved. They had arranged the show at 6 pm in the Sun Network building. Ved sat beside me and enjoyed the whole film. This is the first time he's watching my movie theater. He loved the film and hugged me. I was so happy. Kalanithi Maran waited and met me after the show amid his busy schedule," He added.

Annaatthe also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Kushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, Soori, Sathish and Sathyan. D Imman has scored the music and Vetri cranked the camera while Ruben took care of the cuts. According to sources, the 2h 43min long film will premiere on Netflix after 21 days of the theatrical release.
