The long awaited 'Maanaadu' hit the screens on November 25th with last minute hiccups but was greeted with a thunderous response from fans. The time loop based thriller directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi has Simbu, Kalyani Priyadarshan and S.J. Suryah in the lead roles. The box office results is excellent in spite of the rain threat and COVID 19 restrictions.

'Maanaadu' which also received unanimous critical praise is poised to become one of the biggest hits of the year. Meanwhile on Friday, Venkat Prabhu revealed that Superstar Rajinikanth called him and Simbu and congratulated them on the success of the film.
