Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ grabbed by Amazon!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ directed by Shankar made at a whopping budget of 4.5 billion rupees is the most anticipated movie by millions of worldwide fans. The film is the sequel to the much successful first edition ‘Endhiran’.
 
Now it has been officially revealed that online giant Amazon has bought the rights for the movie. Amazon Prime Video India has bought the online streaming rights for Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ for a huge sum reportedly.

 Recently, many films have decided to sell rights to online streaming sites to combat piracy and increase profits and a grand movie like ‘2.0’ deciding to join it might be considered a sign of good times ahead for the film industry in general.

‘2.0’ which is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions also has Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in vital roles. The music score for the film has been composed by A.R.Rahman. And the film is all set to amaze audiences starting from January 25 coming year.
