Sunny Leone’s ‘Veeramadevi’: Reasons why it’s going to be grand

The First look of Sunny Leone-starrer ‘Veeramadevi’ is out.  Made on a “monstrous budget of Rs. 100 crores, the magnum opus is touted to be a visual extravaganza.

“Ponse Stephen of Steeves Corner has burnt the candles at both ends to ensure that grandeur isn’t compromised at any cost.  Insuperable richness defines this V.C. Vadivudaiyan’s directorial flick.  We are making it simultaneously in five languages,” the makers say.  

Suny has tried to gain command over the Tamil language in doing the magnum opus.  “Our film boasts of a prominent star cast from Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu.  Nasser has a key role,” a statement says.

‘Veeramadevi’, true to its title, will have high-end war sequences, complete with horses and elephants, which have been drawn from Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala.  “The actors are being nurtured with heavy level practice to shoot for this sequence,” the director says.  

The film will also be a costume drama.  “Sunny Leone’s majestic attires will reflect the Indian cultural and traditional ethnicity, which are being designed in Mumbai. With grand set works erected in Ramoji Film City and locations tented at deepest thick forests of Kerala, the war sequences are being shot in top-notch quality,” a statement from the makers says.  

What about graphics?  They will be handled by the finest experts from India and Canada.  “The man behind unparalleled CG and Animation works in Hollywood’s celebrated ‘The Lord of The Rings’ and ‘Gods of Egypt’ is working as Executive Producer of this department in this movie.  We are spending around Rs. 40 crore budget on CG works alone,” the director says.
