Sundar C and VZ Dhorai who delivered a decent hit at the box office with 'Iruttu', a horror-thriller that was shot in the hilly locales of Ooty have joined hands once again for the sequel of Thalainagaram.

Thalainagaram 2, a sequel to the blockbuster movie Thalainagaram was launched today with a Pooja. This commercial entertainer will have Sundar C playing the lead just as the first part and the other casts of this film are yet to be announced.

This film will be produced by SM Prabhakaran under the banner Right eye Theaters. The title poster of the film was also released today with the Phrase 'Right is Back' highlighted in red while the name of the film was designed with bloodstains on it.

Sundar C recent completed shooting for his upcoming film Aranmanai 3 with Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah, Sakshi Agarwal, Vivek, (his posthumous film) Myna Nandhini, Yogi Babu, Nalini, Manobala, Sampath Raj, Ovi Bhandarkar, Vincent Asokan and several others. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 14 October 2021.
