Jiiva’s New Film Titled Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan (JIO)!

On the occasion of actor Jiiva‘s birthday, the title of his 47th film has been officially revealed. Directed by M. Rajesh, the movie is titled Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan (abbreviated as JIO).

This marks a highly anticipated reunion of Jiiva, Rajesh, and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja after nearly 17 years since their blockbuster Siva Manasula Sakthi (SMS). While not a sequel to SMS, the makers promise it will carry the same vibrant mix of humor, romance, and heartfelt emotions.

A hilarious promotional video shot in Dubai was released for the title announcement. In it, Jiiva and Rajesh appear dressed as sheikhs, meeting Yuvan in a hotel. The clip playfully pokes fun at topics like Ilaiyaraaja’s copyright issues and the rise of cinematic universes like LCU. Parithabangal fame Sudhakar also makes a cameo appearance.

Produced by Malik Streams Corporation, the film features cinematography by M. Sukumar and editing by Ashish Joseph. Shooting is progressing rapidly, with the first look poster expected soon.
