Sumanth’s new film gets a traditional title

Renowned for his captivating performances, Akkineni Sumanth recently earned acclaim for his role in “Sita Ramam.” Buoyed by the positive reception, Sumanth eagerly embraced a new venture with Rajashyama Entertainments, titled “Mahendragiri Varahi.”

During a recent visit to Sri Sarada Peetha in Visakhapatnam, the entire team, led by Sumanth, participated in a special pooja at the Rajashyamala Ammavari temple, setting a harmonious tone for the upcoming film. Directed by Jagarlapudi Santhosh, the movie pairs Sumanth with Meenakshi, while Kalipu Madhu and M Subbareddy take on the roles of producers.

Director Jagarlapudi Santhosh offered insights into the film, revealing that “Mahendragiri Varahi” will revolve around the Goddess Varahi in Mahendragiri. With the shooting, which commenced in June 2023, now nearing completion, the film promises to deliver an intriguing cinematic experience.

Producers Kalipu Madhu and M Subbareddy expressed their satisfaction with the progress, highlighting “Mahendragiri Varahi” as the second film under the Rajashyamala Entertainments banner. They are optimistic about its potential for success.

Sumanth, known for his discerning choice of roles, emphasized his deliberate approach to projects, opting for films that showcase him in a fresh light. Describing “Mahendragiri Varahi” as a unique thriller, Sumanth teased at the film’s distinctive elements and hinted that his character would embody a grey shade, adding an extra layer of complexity to the narrative. Sumanth for all his dedication and hard work is failing to set the screens on fire. He is pinning all his hopes on this film as his previous films Malli Modalaindi, Kapatadhari failed at the box office. He did a cameo in Dhanushn’s SIR/Vaathi and apart from this film,he is starring in Anaganaga Oka Rowdy. Fans of Sumanth are praying for his success at the box office.
