Actor Arya is back with the new web series, ‘The Village’, backed by Prime Video. The show is all set to make its debut on November 24. Today, actor Karthi unveiled the official trailer of ‘The Village’ on his social media page. We are presented with a glimpse of an arresting zombie thriller in this 2-minute video.
The trailer opens with Arya going on a road trip with his sweet family. On their way, they get a flat tyre in the middle of a deserted village. Arya leaves his family and goes to get help to fix the car. He discovers that the village is very hazardous and his family is in danger now. It is safe to say that there are darker mysteries than zombies in the menacing village.
The story takes place on a single night in Kattiyal village. The series will unravel the mystery surrounding the Kattiyal village, its coast and the factory around it. It stars Arya, Aadukalam Naren, Muthukumar, John Kokken, Thalaivaasal Vijay, George Maryan, Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Sunny PN, Kalairaani SS, Arjun Chidambaram, Jayaprakash and many others.
‘The Village’ is directed by Milind Rau of ‘Aval’ fame and written by Deeraj Vaidy, who penned dialogues in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’. The series has music composed by Girishh Gopalakrishnan.
