Sudheer Babu is playing the role of badminton legend and PV Sindhu's mentor Pullela Gopichand in a biopic. Made as a multi-lingual film, it is going to have a pan-Indian release.  The budget is said to be anywhere between Rs 35 and 40 crore. 

"This is the costliest project in Sudheer's career.  The 'Sammohanam' actor is putting his heart and soul into it.  Gopichand himself chose Sudheer to play the role as he believes that he would be apt for it," says a report.  In this regard, he is subjecting himself to severe physical regimens.  

Director Praveen Sattaru has canned some major scenes already.  

Apart from this, Sudheer is also doing ‘V’, which also stars Nani, Nivetha Thomas, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
