Sandalwood-based production house Hombale Films has made a huge impact in the Indian film industry by delivering the biggest budgeted Kannada film ever 'KGF : Chapter One'. The film directed by Prashanth Neel starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles went on to become a massive hit in the pan Indian trade. The same company has also made the sequel 'KGF: Chapter 2' which is slated for release on April 14th, 2022.

Hombale Films is currently bankrolling yet another pan Indian project 'Salaar' directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan on a budget of over 200 Crores. It is now reported that the company has signed ace filmmaker Sudha Kongara for a new movie to be made in multi-languages.

It is already known that Sudha Kongara after her blockbuster hit 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Suriya narrated a script to Thala Ajith which impressed him and talks were on. Right now its not clear whether the Hombale project is the same one and if there is the possibility of Ajith starring. We have to wait for more developments on this front and not jump to any conclusion.

Thala Ajith is currently in Russia for the shooting of the remaining few portions of 'Valimai' directed by H.Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor. His next 'Thala 61' is also for the same team and will go on floors by the end of this year.
