Simbu and A.R. Rahman reunite for the sixth time in mega project

Whenever Simbu and A.R. Rahman combine for a movie it is bound to be a memorable one for fans.  So far they have united for five chartbusters ‘Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya’ ‘Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada’ ‘Chekka Chivanda Vaanam’ ‘Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu’ and ‘Pathu Thala’.

During the promotions of ‘Pathu Thala’ Rahman even mentioned that Simbu is like an younger brother to him and they have a very strong bonding.  Similarly Simbu too adores the music maestro and has shared the same in several interviews.

Now the hot news is that Simbu and ARR are reuniting for the sixth time in the upcoming ‘STR 48’ produced by Kamal Haasan.  The Desingh Periyasamy directorial period action film will have Simbu in dual roles as hero and villain and is costliest in the latter’s career.  The shooting is expected to begin in a few weeks time on grand sets that are under construction and the rest of the cast and crew details will be out at that time.
