Steven Spielberg is not just a name, but an emotion for movie lovers. And guess what, the director has become the very first filmmaker to reap in more than $10 Billion at the world box office. Not believing it yet? With his latest outing ‘Ready Player One’ grossing about $475 million in just three weeks. . .well you get the idea.

After the '$10 Billion man' is director Peter Jackson who made ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’ at the second spot with $6.52 Billion. While most of the top ten high grossers are franchise films(for example think Harry Potter), it should be noted that Steven Spielberg dished out individual classic after classic. That’s a true mark of a director who is a blend of fine art and some fabulous money.
