'Waltair Veerayya' (to be released in theatres on January 13 next year) has been in the news over its songs. But there is something interesting about the characters in the film.

It's learned that Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja are playing step-brothers in the mass masala entertainer. While the Megastar hails from Andhra, the Mass Maharaja is from Telangana. The latter is a daredevil cop.

It will be so massy to see the duo share screen space. How the two get along and their roles are intertwined will be interesting to watch.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has Catherine Tresa in a key role. Arthur A Wilson is its cinematographer. 'Waltair Veerayya' has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Recently, a song titled 'Sridevi-Chiranjeevi' was released from the movie. Shruti Haasan's costumes and Chiru's dance moves from the same have received acclaim.
