With MAA lifting the ban on her, Sri Reddy has said that she doesn’t see it as some privilege bestowed upon her. She can now act in any movie. She now has the last laugh for sure.
“I am not even 20 percent happy. They have not given me any boon by lifting the ban. It’s my right. Am I to celebrate it? Even if they had not lifted the ban on me, I would have fought for it in my own way. My fight (against sexual exploitation of women in the film industry) will only be intensified from now,” she said.
Sri Reddy on Thursday evening told a TV channel that she will only intensify her fight. ”I will let you know my strategy soon. I am not going to spend much time appearing on TV. I have to allocate time for the cases I am going to fight. My sisters (fellow victims) will arrive on the scene from now,” Sri Reddy declared.
About the Kona Venkat issue, she noted, “I will approach it legally. Far from confessing that he did a mistake, he has absolved himself. As a victim, I know what happened with me. And as a perpetrator, he knows what he did. Truth is on my side. As a married man, he should not have done some things.”
