Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away after a two month battle with Coronavirus, on September 25, 1:04 PM at the MGM hospital in Chennai, and his funeral was held at his family property at Thamaraipakkam, where he was laid to rest with full police honours.
After the funeral, SPB’s son SP Charan said during his interaction with press at his farmhouse that his Dad is now happy and has recovered and is breathing well, in Thamaraipakkam garden where he is resting.
Further, Charan said that he wishes to build a memorial for his father, who had always been SPB for the people, and himself and his music were people’s property. Charan said that the memorial will be dedicated to fans of SP Balasubrahmanyam across the world and that he will update regarding the memorial this week.
