Sivakarthikeyan signs a famous young actress as Soori’s pair in new project- Deets

Soori one of the leading comedians in Tamil cinema recently turned hero in Vetrimaaran’s two part film ‘Viduthalai’.  The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi and the first part will release on March 31st in theaters worldwide.  Soori is also playing a parallel lead in Ram’s ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’ also featuring Nivin Pauly and Anjali.

Meanwhile the pooja of a new movie starring Soori in the lead was held recently which is bankrolled by Sivakarthikeyan Productions.  The film is directed by P.S. Vinothraj of ‘Koozhangal’ fame.

The hot news is that young Malayalam actress Anna Ben is playing the female lead in the as yet untitled film.  This will be the 27 year old’s first Tamil venture after gaining widespread fame for her Malayalam films that include ‘Helen’ and the recently released ‘Kaappa’.  More details of this exciting project is awaited.
