When the anchor asked about Thani Oruvan 2 in a recent interaction, Ravi opened up, “Thani Oruvan 2 is definitely on. My brother and I are busy right now. When our schedules sync, we’ll start working on the project. The film’s story has shaped up extraordinarily. Yes, the script for Thani Oruvan 2 is ready.” 

“Actually, Thani Oruvan 2 was supposed to be done before Ponniyin Selvan. But my brother advised me to do Ponniyin Selvan then as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. So, everything was prepared back then,” added the talented actor. Ravi also revealed that he will reprise his role as Mithran IPS in Thani Oruvan 2.
