Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen’s upcoming film ‘LEGACY’ has entered the final phase of production. Written and directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida, the intense political action drama is being mounted on a large scale under the Kalaahi Media banner.
Yeshwanth Daggumati and Saikiran Reddy Daida are producing the film, with Sanjay Sambrani and V.V.N. Prasad serving as co-producers. The project marks Kalaahi Media’s second production after the critically acclaimed ‘Pindam’, which was also helmed by Saikiran Reddy Daida.
Set against a politically charged backdrop, ‘LEGACY’ delves into the complex relationship between power, family, love and betrayal. At the centre of the story is a reluctant heir who finds himself pulled into a dangerous world he never intended to enter.
As long-hidden secrets begin to surface and powerful enemies tighten their grip, he is forced to confront the burden of his father’s legacy and make choices that could change everything.
Vishwak Sen is set to appear in a completely different and striking avatar, promising an intense, layered performance. Adding further weight to the conflict is acclaimed actor Kay Kay Menon, who plays a formidable antagonist.
The makers have commenced a month-long final shooting schedule in and around Madanapalle in Chittoor district. Vishwak Sen and the principal cast will take part in this schedule, which will cover crucial story sequences, action-packed episodes and songs.
The technical crew features several notable names. Jiju Sunny is handling the cinematography, while Govind Vasantha is composing the music. Sirish Prasad is the editor and Rajeev Nair serves as the production designer. Action choreography is by Jashuva.
Sync Cinema is taking care of the sound design, while E. Radhakrishna is handling the Dolby Atmos mix at Prasad Mixing Theatre.
Alongside Vishwak Sen and Kay Kay Menon, the film boasts an impressive ensemble featuring Murali Mohan, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar, Ekta Rathod, Raja Ravindra, Rajeev Kanakala, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Khushee Ravi, Kalyani Natarajan, Collector Srinivas, Ravi Kaale, Amit Tiwari and others.
With its politically charged narrative, powerful performances, emotional conflicts and high-octane action, ‘LEGACY’ is shaping up as an ambitious addition to Vishwak Sen’s filmography.
More importantly, the film appears to go beyond the conventional story of inheriting power, raising a compelling question: Is a legacy meant to be carried forward, or rewritten?
‘LEGACY’ is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release in December.
