Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’ first review is mind blowing

The biggie that not only fans are waiting for but also the general movie audiences is undoubted ‘Soorarai Pottru’ directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by 2D Entertainment and Shikya Entertainment.  The film has Suriya in the role of an underprivileged poor youth who fights his way up in life to become an aviator and dons multiple getups during the course of the story.

‘Soorarai Pottru’ went to the censors recently and the CBFC officials not only gave a clean U certificate but has also given the first reviews that the subject and execution by Sudha Kongara is excellent.  The officials were so mindblown by Suriya’s acting that they have said to have congratulated him immediately after the show.

‘Soorarai Pottru’ has the A list cast of Aparna Balamurali as Suriya’s pair while veterans Mohan Babu, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal play other important characters.  Though OTT platforms are vying with each other to grab the streaming rights of the film Suriya is keen to first showcase it in theaters and only later on the net.
