Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, renowned for his philanthropic endeavors and impressive physique, has also made a mark in Kollywood with notable roles in films like “Chandramukhi,” “Osthe,” “Devi,” and most recently, Vijay Antony’s “Thamilarasan.” During an interaction with his fans on social media, Sonu Sood shared an interesting revelation about his favorite Tamil actor – Vijayakanth.
Interestingly, Sonu Sood made his Tamil film debut with Vijayakanth in the 1999 movie “Kallazhagar,” where he portrayed the character of Soumya Narayanan, a priest. When a fan asked about his favorite Tamil actor, Sonu Sood responded that Captain Vijaykant is his favorite since he gave him the first break in a Tamil film ‘Kallalazagar’. The action drama film, directed by Bharathi, featured Vijayakanth and Laila in lead roles, with Nasser, Sonu Sood, and Manivannan in supporting roles. The music for the film was composed by Deva.
Apart from his Tamil film debut, Sonu Sood gained immense popularity for his humanitarian efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
