To say that it's vintage Yuvan Shankar Raja would be stating the obvious. The song also is Yuvan-meets-Harris Jayaraj at one level. If the deployment of the Nadhaswaram (by Thirumurthy) goes a long way in making it soulful, the crests and troughs are rather subdued. When it's 'Yentho yentho ardham choopinchaga' time, the 'raga' reminds us of the 'Rayini matram kante' song from 'Dasavatharam'.

Jithin Raj's voice is a throwback to such memorable numbers as 'Avunanna preme kadanna preme' from 'Manmadha'. The mellifluous voice is way too soothing.

Sreshta's lyrics are high on meaning and have to be listened to again and again to make a sense of. 'Needaloni silpam merisakilaa, theepi kanti neeru kurisenugaa' is one of the esoteric lines.

'Abhimanyudu, starring Vishal, Samantha and Arjun, is directed by PS Mithran.
