Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, along with husband Anand Ahuja, made her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy on March 21. She was attending the inauguration of a multi-brand sneaker boutique in Mumbai, which was also graced by her father Anil Kapoor.

Sonam Kapoor looked radiant as she subtly showed off her baby bump in a blue eveningwear. Sharing pictures from a photoshoot with her husband earlier, Sonam announced the news of her pregnancy on her social media page. “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you,” she wrote.

In a recent interview with a fashion magazine, Sonam Kapoor talked about how the initial days of pregnancy were tough on her. “It’s been tough—nobody tells you how hard it is. Everybody tells you how wonderful it is. If you want to carry another life within you, you have to respect your own. The reason we’re all here is to change and become better versions of ourselves. So that evolution is something I look forward to,” she said.
