Former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant infected by COVID 19 passes away at a young age

The coronavirus pandemic which has been holding the entire globe in its grip has claimed lakhs of lives and many from the entertainment industry have also succumbed to it.  The latest shocking news is that Somadas famous for his stint on ‘Bigg Boss 2’ Malayalam hosted by Mohan Lal has died of cardiac arrest at 3 am on Sunday.  Incidentally during the show, too, Somadas exited the house midway due to sudden illness and was found to have complications from high blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol 

It is said that 42 year old Somadas was undergoing treatment for COVID 19  at the Government Medical College Hospital Kollam.  He recovered from the infection and even tested negative for the virus but his kidneys were reportedly damaged and cost him his life.

Somadas came into the limelight as a singer in Super Singer show and was spotted by the late Kalabhavan Mani who gave him a push in the film industry and he got the chance to sing a few songs for films.  He was a divorcee and is survived by two children.

Last time when we met on the floor for shoot he held my hand and said ‘Dear Arya because of Corona all our plans were gone right. Lets celebrate when all these are over,’ ….
