Actor Dhanush had a release this Pongal with Pattas directed by Durai Senthil Kumar who had previously directed Kodi with Dhanush. Pattas produced by Sathyajyothi films released on January 15.
Starring Dhanush in dual roles as father and son, the movie had Sneha paired with Dhanush after Pudhupettai and her character not just had emotions and romance but also action as she played a character trained in Adimurai.
Director Durai Senthil Kumar had revealed in a recent interview that Sneha was pregnant during the shooting of the movie and as action training was required, Sneha took efforts despite her condition and gave a good performance. A video posted by Sneha where she’s seen training in Adimurai martial arts for Pattas has turned viral.
