‘Don’ enters 100c club – Sivakarthikeyan sets a unique record in Kollywood with his back to back centuries!

Sivakarthikeyan joined hands with debut director Cibi Chakravarthi for the recent blockbuster ‘Don’, which was released on May 13. The coming of age campus comedy entertainer opened to a high positive response from the fans, audience and critics. We already reported that the film is doing exceptionally well at the box office.

Now, the latest hot news is that SK starrer ‘Don’ has entered the prestigious 100c club in just 12 days. The makers have officially announced that ‘Don’ has grossed more than Rs 100 crores worldwide. It is worth mentioning that Sivakarthikeyan’s last movie ‘Doctor’ is also a 100c club film.

SK has set a unique record in Kollywood with his back to back centuries. Sivakarthikeyan becomes the first Tamil hero to have his career’s first and second 100c grossers with consecutive releases – ‘Doctor’ and ‘Don’. He has achieved this feat with a one film old director and a debut director.

Notably, Priyanka Mohan has played SK’s pair and Anirudh has composed music in both ‘Doctor’ and ‘Don’. It is jointly produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Lyca Productions. Today, Lyca Productions took to their social media page to release a new poster confirming the collection record.
