Sivakarthikeyan’s whatsapp status on his late dad Doss’s 70th birthday melts hearts

Sivakarthikeyan the favorite hero of the family audiences is himself a staunch family man.  He is especially attached to the memory of his dad Doss who passed away much before his son entered the entertainment arena and eventually became world famous.

On his father’s 70th birthday Siva has penned an emotional note that reads “Even the gods cannot equal a father’s love.  Whatever I do today is all because of you appa, the values you taught me and the way you lived to show how to support others silently irrespective of what we have in our hand. Always your proud son you will be remembered fro ever appa”. Sivakarthikeyan named his son born in 2021 as Gugan Doss in memory of his dad beleiving that he is reborn.

Doss a jailer worked in the Trichy prison earning a good name not only amidst the public but also the prisoners who saw him as a compassionate man who tried to reform them.  He reportedly died on duty due to natural causes two decades back. 

Sivakarthikeyan’s new movie ‘Maaveera’ directed by Madonne Ashwin and costarring Aditi Shankar is releasing worldwide on July 14th.  The top hero will be participating in  hectic promotional activities for the film starting from July 2nd at a pre-release event in a Chennai college.  His next film ‘SK 21’ produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy is under production.  The film has Sai Pallavi as the female lead with G.V. Prakash Kumar scoring the music.
