Sivakarthikeyan headlines the titular role in 'Amaran,' the biopic drama of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan. Produced by Raaj Kamal Films and Sony Pictures India, this eagerly awaited army action saga is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film is an adaptation of the book series India's Most Fearless, based on the heroic life of Mukund Varadarajan.

Today, the team announced the release date, unveiling a new poster to mark the occasion. Sivakarthikeyan's 'Amaran' is coming to cinemas on October 31, coinciding with Diwali 2024. Unveiling the announcement, the actor wrote, "There lived a man who never feigned to be a hero... Let’s celebrate our #Amaran - #MajorMukundVaradarajan this Diwali (sic)."

'Amaran' also features a stellar cast including Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, Shreekumar, and others. The film boasts a musical score by GV Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by CH Sai and editing by R. Kalaivanan. Currently, the movie is in the post-production stage.
