It’s known that Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry has been hospitalized. KIMS Hospital on Monday evening came out with a health update.
Dr Sambit Sahu said that the 66-year-old lyricist has been undergoing treatment for Pneumonia since November 24 at the hospital. “Currently, he is under close observation by a team of expert doctors. He is getting appropriate treatment in the ICU. We will keep you updated regularly on his health status,” the hospital said.
The other day, rumours went out that the celebrated lyricist was in a critical condition. Sirivennela’s family was quick to put the record straight, adding that there is no truth in the rumour.
Fans of the veteran lyricist are praying for his quick recovery. ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, ‘RRR’, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, ‘Narappa’ and ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ are among his recent lyrical outings. The ‘Dosti’ song from ‘RRR’ is written by him. ‘Samajavaragamanam’ from ‘AVLP’, shot on Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, is his most popular song in recent times.
On the personal front, his son Raja Chembolu, the actor of such movies as ‘Fidaa’, tied the knot with Venkatalakhsmi Himabindu at a star hotel in November last.
