The Andhra Pradesh Government has announced the naming of the Government School of Music & Dance in Nellore as Dr. S P Balasubramanyam Government School of Music & Dance. The singer's son SP Charan thanked the Andhra Government and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for this honor.
