Check how ‘Arabic Kuthu’ catapulted singer Jonita Gandhi into a hot actress

The ‘Arabic Kuthu’ song from Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’ composed and sung by Anirudh along with Jonita Gandhi has become a gargantuan hit garnering 46 million views in 3 days.  The song video showed glimpses of the pretty Jonita grooving the song in style much like how she rocked in the “Chellamma” song in Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Doctor’ also composed by Anirudh.

Now the thought on every fans mind is that Jonita can easily become a heroine but the good news is that she already has.  The 32 year old beauty is currently starring as the female lead opposite newcomer Krishnakumar in  ‘Walking Talking Strawberry Ice Cream’ produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara under their home banner Rowdy Pictures. The film is directed by debutant director Vinayak and also stars Malti Chahar, the younger sister of Chennai Super Kings player Deepak Sahar, in a parallel lead role.

Nayantara and Vignesh Sivan are said to be in high spirits after the stupendous success of ‘Arabic Kuthu’ as Jonita has got such huge publicity.  It is said that distributors are showing sudden interest in the project and major updates will be out very soon regarding the progress.
