Exciting lineup: Atman Simbu’s upcoming projects unveiled; Buzz about ‘STR 50’!

Atman Simbu is currently engrossed in working on ‘Thug Life,’ where he stars alongside Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. He began dubbing for this action-packed saga last week, and the film’s shooting is expected to continue until September. Recently, Simbu’s upcoming film slate has been revealed, creating a buzz online.

Originally, Simbu had joined forces with director Desingh Periasamy for a grand project titled ‘STR 48’ under Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. However, due to delays in the commencement of ‘STR 48,’ Simbu unexpectedly moved on to work on ‘Thug Life,’ which has now technically become his 48th film.

Reports now indicate that Simbu is set to collaborate with director Jude Antony Joseph, known for ‘2018,’ on a mega-budget film with a projected budget of 150 to 180 crores. This project, tentatively titled ‘STR 49,’ is slated to begin production by September or October. Following this, Simbu’s milestone 50th film will be the much-anticipated project with Desingh Periasamy, set to commence in early 2025. We have to take it with a pinch of salt until it becomes official.
