Doctors at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Porur detected bleeding in his stomach and advised advanced medical treatment. Initially, the family planned to treat Rajendar in Singapore but later the plans were shifted to the USA. Recent reports suggest that Simbu has already left for the US and made arrangements for his father's treatment.

Sources say that T Rajendar will fly to America tonight with his family. It seems that STR has made arrangements to get the operation done quickly once his family lands in the US. It is being reported that T Rajendar will be admitted to the Brooklyn Hospital in America and will get treated there for around 60 days. The legendary filmmaker is expected to meet the press before his journey.
