Simbu in ‘STR 48’ to commence with a test shoot? – Here’s what we know

Atman Simbu is now grinding his body for his next film, ‘STR 48’. He will be playing dual roles as the hero and villain in the upcoming film written and directed by Desingh Periasamy. This movie was officially announced back in March with a stunning video. However, the shoot hasn’t started yet.

The latest buzz in Tinsel town is that the makers have planned a test shoot in February 2024 with STR and the actual shooting for STR 48 will commence in April 2024. This is touted to be a mega-budgeted venture produced by Kamal Haasan under Raaj Kamal Films International. It is said to be a historical action-adventure film.

‘KGF’ fame Ravi Basrur is in talks for composing the film’s music. Director Desingh Periasamy is still working on the pre-production of STR 48 while STR is beefing up his body for the new look in the movie. He has sported a long hair look after a long time for this upcoming project.
