Simbu repeats Pawan Kalyan’s dance moves

The Teaser for ‘Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven’, the Tamil remake of ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, is out.  One thing is clear.  Director Sundar C has retained the essence of the original to the maximum extent.  Even the Ahalya episode is intact.  If anything, its naughtiness might have been taken to the next level.  

The Telugu audience will surely find it unsettling.  ’VRV’ seems to be loud.  For a taste of how the emotional moments have been treated, we have to wait for the Trailer.  

While Simbu has reprised Pawan Kalyan in his own way, it’s telling that the director thought it apt to have his hero repeat the feminine dance moves of Power Star.  The ‘Katamarayudu’ number is radically altered to suit the Tamil nativity.  

Megha Akash reprises Samantha, Catherine Tresa reprises Pranitha Subhash, Nasser and Ramya Krishna respectively reprise Boman Irani and Nadhiya.  Rao Ramesh is Prabhu.  Yogi Babu and Motta Rajendran step into the shoes of Brahmanandam and Posani Krishna Murali, respectively.
