Actor Simbu started the second innings of his cinema career with the blockbuster ‘Maanadu’ and proved his acting prowess again with his recent release ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’. He completed shooting for his upcoming film ‘Pathu Thala’, the Kannada blockbuster ‘Mufti’ remake. 

We already reported to you that Pathu Thala is aiming for a theatrical release in March 2023. Meanwhile, there is no news regarding Simbu’s next project including the earlier announced film ‘Corona Kumar’. As per the sources, the multi-faceted actor is reportedly taking a break for a month before he announces his next project. 

Reportedly, Silambarasan has planned to practice martial arts during this break to develop his skills. On the other hand, there is a report claiming that STR will team up with veteran director AR Murugadoss for a superhero flick soon. It is said that it will be a high-budget film that needs time for preparations and the actor will do a movie in the meantime. 

Silambarasan’s next project is still a mystery, and let’s wait for the actor to announce it officially. Pathu Thala, directed by Obeli N Krishna, has music by AR Rahman. It also stars Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Teejay, and Kalaiyarasan among others.
