‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ actress Mumtaj cries and asks forgiveness – Video goes viral

Mumtaj made her debut as an actress in Tamil cinema with the film ‘Monisha En Mona lisa’ directed by T. Rajhender. After that, she was noticed in the role of Anita and especially the song “Kattipudi Kattipudida” in the Vijay-Jyothika starrer ‘Khushi’ directed by S.J. Suryah.

Mumtaj then acted alongside top stars of the nineties such as Prashanth (‘Chocolate’),  Sathyaraj (Malabar Police), Prabhu (Budget Padmanabhan), Karthik (Looty), Arjun (Ezhumali), Sarathumar (Aye) and  ‘Rajathi Raja’ with Raghava Lawrence.

Mumtaj, after a long gap gained fame after participating  as a contestant in the 2nd season of ‘Bigg Boss’ hosted by Kamal Haasan.  She gave a tough fight with a long stay before being eliminated on the 91st day.

Mumtaz, who is away from the limelight for the past few years has posted a video on her Facebook page of her pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina,   She has stated ” I am in Mecca today. I am praying for everyone here. I have finally traveled to my favorite place on earth. There are no words to express this excitement. However, I would like to share my heartfelt thanks. Also, may Allah accept my dua too, Ya Allah save us all from evil, forgive us all our mistakes and give us all a happy life. May Allah give this Darbar Naseeb to everyone, please forgive us, forgive the sins we have done”

Mumtaj has captioned the video “I leave ourbeloved’s city yaa Allah but with a promise to try my level best to live by my beloved prophet salallaho alayhi wasalams teachings please guide me yaa rabbul aalameen Allahumma Aameen.”  The video has gone viral on Instagram.
