His brand-new look took the internet by storm. STR was spotted as super fit and long-haired in a black t-shirt and pants with a light beard. Fans are going gaga about it.

Simbu underwent immense martial arts training and workout to transform physically for his upcoming film with director Desingh Periasamy under Kamal Haasan's production. Directed by Obeli N Krishna, 'Pathu Thala' is the Tamil remake of the Kannada superhit 'Mufti' but the director had made major changes in the script. It has music scored by AR Rahman.
