‘Kettavan’ Simbu shows his true colors to director

Simbu and controversy go hand in hand and here is one more proof. Seven years back, Simbu started shooting for a film ironically titled ‘Kettavan’ directed by Nandu. Creative differences popped up between the hero and director and the film went into oblivion at the halfway stage.

In a recent television talk show director Nandu participated as a speaker and when he introduced himself as the director of ‘Kettavan’ everyone expected him to attack STR. But what Nandu revealed about Simbu was to the extreme contrary. Nandu’s wife had apparently given birth to their child and the hospital bill had come up to sixty thousand.

Unknowingly during the time Simbu had called Nandu to bury their differences and during the meeting he had noticed the tense mood and inquired about it and Nandu explained about his wife and left. When the director reached the hospital he found that STR’s friend Deepan had already paid up the bills and explained to him that Simbu didn’t give him money in the meeting itself as he would have refused it. Well STR never fails to shock and amaze at the same time.
