Simbu to turn into a producer for the first time in this mega-budget movie?

We all know that Simbu collaborated with director Desingh Periyasamy for ‘STR 48’ earlier. The project has hit a fresh twist in its production journey. Originally announced in 2023, the project was to be produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, generating huge excitement among fans. 

However, in an unexpected development, Raaj Kamal Films decided to exit this much-awaited movie, sparking rumours that a prominent Telugu production house might step in. Now, the latest update reveals that Simbu himself will take the reins as producer, with an official announcement expected soon. If everything goes well, this venture will become Simbu’s 50th film.

Reports suggest that Simbu has already made a substantial investment in the film’s pre-production, and filming is set to kick off soon. Known for his passion and commitment to unique stories, Simbu reportedly found Desingh Periyasamy’s script compelling enough to keep the project close, even if it meant taking on the producer’s role.
