Silambarasan who recently tasted the success of his film Vendhu Thanindadhu Kaadu has reportedly charged no money to be part of Varisu. It is also reported that Simbu’s contribution to Varisu does not end with just vocals.

If the sources are to be believed, Silambarasan has also acted in a short cameo role in the film. This has gained a positive response among fans and the expectation over the film has doubled after this news.

The film directed by Vamshi Paidipally has the ensemble cast of Vijay, Rashmika Mandana, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth,Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyukta and S.J. Suryah. Karthik Palani is handling the cinematography and Praveen KL the editing while Dil Raju is bankrolling with a huge budget and releasing it in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.
