Star Boy Siddu Jonnalagadda is all set to charm audiences with his upcoming romantic drama Telusu Kada, directed by renowned stylist-turned-filmmaker Neeraja Kona in her directorial debut. Backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release this Diwali.

As part of its musical promotions, the makers unveiled the first single, “Mallika Gandha,” composed by the ever-reliable Thaman S. More than just a love song, Mallika Gandha is an immersive audio-visual experience where melody, emotions, and visuals blend seamlessly.

Thaman’s masterful composition combines traditional Indian instruments like the tanpura and flute with a modern soundscape, creating a track that flows like the unpredictable emotions of love. The music gradually builds to a soulful crescendo, while Sid Sriram’s haunting vocals bring a unique blend of vulnerability and passion. His effortless rendition perfectly mirrors the song’s emotional highs and lows, turning it into a heartfelt ballad that lingers in the listener’s mind.

Director Neeraja Kona, teaming up with cinematographer Gnana Shekar VS, crafts a visually stunning romantic world. From mist-laden dreamlike frames to vibrant dance sequences, every shot radiates warmth and cinematic elegance.

The on-screen chemistry between Siddu Jonnalagadda and Raashi Khanna is the heartbeat of the track. Their natural ease and deep emotional connection bring authenticity to each frame—whether it’s a quiet, intimate moment or a playful romantic interlude. Srinidhi Shetty plays the other leading lady in the film, adding another layer to its rich emotional palette.

On the technical front, the film boasts an impressive crew with National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli handling the cuts, Avinash Kolla as the production designer, and Sheetal Sharma managing the costumes.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 17, making it a special Diwali treat for audiences.
