'Padmavat' mob riots gets Kollywood stars fumed up

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavat’ has come out after crossing through various obstacles. Eventhough the the country’s apex court gave the green signal for the film to be screened after having made changes, protests are rife in various regions of the country.
In response to this, actors Siddharth and Arvind Swamy have voiced out their views in their respective social pages. Condemning the ongoing protests and mob riots, Siddharth pointed out that this is happenning for a movie which has been already okayed by the Sepreme court. “This kind of mindlessness is only possible when people in power tacitly endorse mob rule,” he said.
While Arvind Swamy has gone full ballistic by saying that it is an administrative failure. Arvind Swamy stated that if there is a law and order breakdown President’s rule must be brought. “Either you are capable of providing security to your citizens and their property or not. There is no excuse, nothing to blame except your administrative failure,” he said.
