Arun Vijay’s Next Film: To Be Directed by Muthaiah!

Actor Arun Vijay visited Tirupati with his family for darshan. During the trip amid the Pongal festive season, he interacted with the media and dropped an exciting update about his upcoming project.

Arun Vijay said: “I will be acting as the lead in a film directed by Muthaiah sir. This is my first collaboration with him. Shooting for the film is set to begin from March onwards. The official announcement will be made very soon.”

Muthaiah is known for directing rural backdrop family entertainers mixed with action and drama. He has previously helmed films like Kamban, Viruman, and Marudhu. Recently, he completed directing his son Vijay in Sullan Sethu, which is gearing up for release. His last directorial Rambo starring Arulnithi was released directly on Sun NXT OTT and received largely negative reviews.

Arun Vijay also added: “After Retta Thala, my film Border (Borrder) is also releasing very soon. It was delayed due to distribution issues, but now everything is falling into place.”

Border is an action-thriller directed by Arivazhagan, where Arun Vijay stars opposite Regina Cassandra. The film has already generated decent buzz among fans.

With recent releases like Retta Thala, Vanangaan, and Idly Kadai, Arun Vijay has been maintaining a steady presence. His pairing with Muthaiah is expected to deliver a solid rural mass entertainer, and fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement.
