Actor SIbiraj's 'Sathya' is the film which has received great positive reviews among the new releases of the latest weekend. The film, directed by Pradeep Krishnamurthy is the remake of Telugu super hit thriller 'Kshanam' and it stars Sibiraj. Remya Nambeesan and Varalaxmi Sarathukumar in lead roles. 

Sathya was released in 17 screens across Chennai and it has had 145 shows screened in its first three days. With this the film has collected over Rs.49 lakhs. (Rs.49, 00,287) with a good 90% occupancy on an average. 

The trade feels it as a 'Good Opening' and the film is expected to do well in the weekdays and hold on for a few more weeks due to positive word of mouth. 

Sibiraj has become very choosy in selecting scripts and due to that he has been giving quality hit films such as 'Naaigal Jakkiradhai' and 'Jacksondurai'. The good trend continues with 'Sathya'.
